What is 6IXTH MAN Leadership?

Founded by urban Los Angeles native Norman A. Coulter Jr., 6IXTH MAN Leadership is designed to assist organizations by equipping its individual team members to prioritize self-leadership and deployed constructive influence (leadership). As a researcher in the Doctoral Program in Leadership Studies at Gonzaga University, Norman meshes servant & authentic leadership paradigms with an applied model¹ of submitting to clarified values. While commonly construed as a negatively charged term, “submission” is the 6IXTH MAN way by which we align our behaviors with beliefs. Leading self is not solely an act of the will; it is the result of humility birthed from bouts with agitation of conscience and submission to truths that benefit the individual and the collective organization. As a consultant, Norman’s purpose is to demystify transformation processes and maximize the societal contributions of “players,” “coaches,” and their “teams”.
